Propane Drying and Hydraulics

C&I assisted our client with addressing deficiencies in the existing dryer system, resulting in larger propane volume during the winter sales season. To achieve this, we increased drying capacity along with increasing pumping capacity from the propane cavern to the bullet storage tanks. The team overcame challenges such as installing a unique style of pump in a very tight space within the cavern, fitting equipment in multiple locations across the plant, and coordinating with multiple vendors to install dryer absorber vessels and dryer skid. We streamlined communication with a local vendor providing the drying skid. The design was completed and project installed in time to take advantage of an outage coinciding with increased propane sales.
