Russ is the manager of the Process Engineering group at C&I Engineering. Russ started his career in the plant as a refinery Process engineer with Texaco, and then Mapco. Russ joined C&I 26 years ago in the Process department, serving as a Process Lead on many projects before moving into the Chief role in 2023. Russ graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, and is licensed as a Professional Engineer in multiple states. Russ has both plant operating and unit design experience in most refinery processes, along with design experience in the chemicals industry.
Outside of work, Russ enjoys spending time with family and church, spoiling a granddaughter, building things from wood, and keeping a 1975 VW Beetle Convertible (Tennessee Volunteer orange, of course) in good running condition.
