Celebrating Corporate Generosity: C&I Engineering Honored in Louisville Business First’s Partners in Philanthropy Program
Louisville Business First’s Partners in Philanthropy program shines a spotlight on companies making a meaningful impact in our community and beyond. Each year, the program recognizes local businesses in Greater Louisville for their charitable financial contributions and volunteer efforts, celebrating those who are strengthening the region through their support of nonprofits and community initiatives.
In this year’s Corporate Philanthropist Awards, 30 companies were honored for their cash contributions to nonprofit organizations. C&I Engineering was listed among the top ten in the Medium Company Category, standing out not only for financial generosity but also for commitment to hands-on community engagement. C&I Engineering ranked second in Volunteer Hours, contributing an impressive 1,250 hours—primarily focused on supporting STEAM activities for local youth.
Amanda Barmore, Business Development and Marketing Manager at C&I Engineering, shared insights into the company’s philanthropic approach:
“At C&I Engineering, our philanthropy strategy hinges on sharing our passion for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) in the local community. C&I demonstrates this namely through partnerships with local high schools, programs and supportive campaigns.”
