Mike Spear

Mike Spear is the Manager of Procurement and Contracts and moonlights as the Manager of Facilities. Since receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from San Diego State University, Mike has spent 40 years in the Procurement and Contracts arena including over 25 years at C&I. Mike has bid, negotiated terms and managed purchase orders and contracts for everything from nuclear reactors to janitorial services to pipe valve and fittings. He has completed Master’s Programs in Contract Formation and Administration from the George Washington University, The University of South Carolina, and  the University of Louisville, which have provided a solid foundation to complete the wide variety of work that crosses his Departments’ collective desks. The procurement variety at C&I reminds him of growing up in Southern California and starting the day on a surf board, migrating the golf course for the afternoon and then finishing up the day night skiing in the local mountains!
