One of our favorite efforts is supporting Engineering Week through our relationship with the Kentucky Science Museum. For several years now, our associates brainstorm ideas for exhibits and interact with young people to show them what engineering is and generate interest in the career we love so much.
The reason C&I was founded in the first place had a lot to do with Louisville, this place we all continue to love. As we are fortunate enough to experience success, it only feels right to share it with the community that is so much a part of who we are.

Building the Community Around Us
Day in and day out, our associates design equipment to exacting specifications, and spend countless hours in front end engineering and detail design leading to construction packages. But from time to time, we, along with family members, roll up our sleeves, pick up our tools and do a little front line construction ourselves. The kind you do at Habitat for Humanity. There is real satisfaction in building something that will ensure a roof over a family’s head.
C&I Ranked Among The Top Corporate Philanthropists
C&I was ranked 21st among the top 23 Corporate Philanthropists in the Medium-sized company category by Louisville Business First. The list, published in the newspaper’s Partners in Philanthropy issue, included the area’s largest givers among this category— ranked by cash donations from local offices.
We spend our days dedicated to our work, acting as advocates for our clients, and supporting each other every step of the way. Those characteristics don’t dissipate at the end of the day. Many of our employees re-channel that passion and dedication by working in the community with favorite charities. It is really rewarding to see associates championing each other’s causes.
