C&I completed the Definition and Implementation Phases to on the 7F-1 HF Alky Heater Upgrades as a part of the Best Available Control Technology (BACT) Capital Project. The project was completed in the October 2006 TA. The design consisted of retrofitting the existing heater with new John Zink Ultra Low-NOx (ULN) burners, installation of a NOx CEMS, a pair of fuel gas filter coalescers, and replacement of the ring headers for the fuel and pilot gas. C&I provided the following: Definition design and cost estimates, Purchase, track, and report status for instrumentation and engineered equipment, Construction packages for all upgrades.
