C&I Engineering performed the detailed design of the new Ash Handling System at one of the client's major generating stations. The project involved upgrading the Ash Handling System in conjunction with the installation of a new auxiliary bottom ash pond and increasing the height of the existing ash pond. The upgraded system allowed for increased ash and gypsum storage capacity. C&I Engineering designed and engineered the piping, civil and electrical systems that support UCC’s process design. Included in this project was the evaluation and design of the Oily Water Sewer and Water Runoff Lift Stations.
