The purpose of the project is to revamp the Lube Vacuum Tower to improve the quality and yield of waxy distillate cuts and to improve the overall tower reliability. Work included the necessary changes to the refinery feed, products, and utility distribution systems, including new equipment, new piping, new electrical, new instrumentation controls, existing pump and piping demolition, and pipe rack modifications in the appropriate areas of the refinery.
