This grassroots projects called for C&I to design a system to contain the storm water runoff associated with the installation of a huge new slab to support the Coker sizing and crushing equipment. The objectives of the projects were to; contain the runoff, properly size a settling chamber, design an overflow weir and sump basin, install a sump pump and pressure line to move the storm water to the coker clearifier across the refinery. Due to the very short time of concentration, the system was designed for a one hour 25 year rain event.
