The objectives of this project is to provide the ability to lift more light materials from the Atmospheric Tower bottoms product and to improve tower fractionation to recover incremental high value diesel product. The project will modify the diesel, AGO wash, and stripping sections of 1C-1, Atmospheric Tower. The project objective will be achieved by removing trays 11-18 of the diesel section and replacing them with packing, removing trays 7-10 and replacing them with a packed AGO wash section, and upgrading trays 1-6 of the stripping section which will also include a new reduced diameter shroud. In addition, a jumper and filter will be installed on the outlet of the Atmospheric Gas Oil Pump (1G-7A) to 1C-1 to ensure a clean packing wash.
