C&I is conducting the front end engineering, detail design, scheduling / planning, procurement, and construction management for this fast-track, multi-disciplined crude unloading project. The schedule is quite aggressive. Getting the new facility in service is critical, given heavily sought after shale crude in the region. This project enables the refinery quick access to the crude produced from the Utica shale via truck.

The Crude Unloading Facility is a fully-automated, 24 hours-per-day operation. A maximum of four (4) islands / (8) lanes exist with a total maximum unloading capacity of 30,000 bbl/day. The automated system is capable of processing 50 trucks per 24-hour day and unloading six (6) trucks simultaneously. Both crude oil and condensate will be shipped to this unloading station - the crude will be separated from the condensate.
