C&I evaluated our clients existing vanilla extraction and concentration process, allowing for the extraction / concentration system to operate in either a new, continuous, or existing discrete mode. The scope involved updating the process and controls for the solvent hold, extractor, pot still tanks, and the hot water set heating. New condensers were designed to concentrate the vanilla extract. The new batching process enables numerous major ingredients to be batch blended, allowing up to 100 recipes without adding WIP difficulties to the existing manufacturing operation.
