The scope of the project is to provide modifications necessary to bring the #2 SRU/TGU into compliance with current Safety Instrumented Systems standards. The detailed engineering divided the SRU #1 & #2 Units’ Triconex controls systems into two separate systems at the refinery. This project will required rerouting existing 24VDC and 120VAC controls wiring from Marshalling Panels 46MP107 (Rack “B”) and 46MP108 (Rack “C”) to Marshalling Panel 46MP110 (Rack “E”). This project will also included rerouting Complex 6 Maintenance S/D Bypass Panel Controls to new Triconex I/O. Power and Controls scope included Triconex hardware specification, interconnection diagrams, loop diagram modifications, design of new Relay and Temperature Transmitter panels, layout of Marshalling Panel Rack “E”, and a construction scope of work.
