This project improved safety conditions at the terminal facility while enhancing reliability and allowing for future growth. Scope of work includes; detailed engineering and design of a control building to house the MCC, PLC, UPS and associated equipment, design of required new conduit supports, and concrete pad for the MCC in the new building, new 480 V MCC new motor starters and feeds for all motors currently supplied from the existing MCC, and new circuit breaker feeds to all 480 volt loads currently supplied from a 480 V panelboard in the existing electrical building, overhead and underground raceways to distribute power from the new electrical building to the end user loads, design of a PLC and remote I/O system to interface the existing Petro-Count demand system with the motor starters to provide the product flow as needed, design of a UPS system to provide continuous power to the PLC and remote I/O systems, and design of a 120/208 volt power supply for the new building HVAC, lighting, receptacles and other miscellaneous electrical circuits.
